Responsibilities:

  1. Install and maintain seasonal plants.
  2. Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces.
  3. Mulch, edge and weed gardens.
  4. Prune and trim trees and bushes.
  5. Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers.
  6. Monitor and maintain the health of plants.
  7. Deal with pest problems that could damage plants.
  8. Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Planting seeds or seedlings in fields.
  2. Tending to crops by watering, fertilizing, and applying pesticides or herbicides as needed.
  3. Monitoring and adjusting irrigation systems.
  4. Harvesting crops at the appropriate time to ensure quality and yield.
  5. Operating and maintaining harvesting equipment, such as tractors or combine harvesters.
  6. Sorting and packing harvested produce for transportation.
  7. Feeding and caring for animals, including tasks such as cleaning and maintaining animal shelters.
  8. Monitoring animal health and assisting with veterinary care when necessary.
  9. Repairing and maintaining fences, buildings, and other farm structures.
