Looking for a hardworking, experienced Fruit Picker to join our team. A Fruit Picker is a vital role in the agricultural sector, responsible for manually harvesting fruits from orchards. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a keen understanding of fruit varieties and ripeness. Fruit Pickers contribute significantly to the success of the harvest season and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the harvested fruits.

Visa Application Requirements:

  1. Passport Validity (1 year).
  2. Updated CV.
  3.  Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  4.  Police Clearance Certificate.
  5.  Age Up to 45 years.
  6.  Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  7.  Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 6-8 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in manual harvesting of fruits, including apples, oranges, berries, or other varieties, following specific guidelines for ripeness and quality.
  2. Handle fruits carefully to prevent bruising or damage during the picking process.
  3. Sort harvested fruits based on size, ripeness, and quality standards.
  4. Pack fruits into containers or bins for transport to markets or storage facilities.
  5. Follow established quality control standards to ensure that only marketable and high-quality fruits are harvested.
  6. Discard damaged or inferior fruits during the picking process.
  7. Work efficiently to meet daily harvesting targets and contribute to the success of the fruit harvest.
  8. Use ladders safely and effectively to reach fruits at varying heights on the trees.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  2. Keen attention to detail to ensure the proper identification and harvesting of fruits based on quality standards.
  3. Familiarity with different fruit varieties, their characteristics, and ripening patterns is beneficial.
  4. Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
  5. Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
