Looking for a General Maintenance Labor. A General Maintenance Worker is a professional who keeps buildings running smoothly. They can fix everything from roofs, windows, and floors to doors in cafeterias or hospitals; they also maintain specialized, high-value equipment like machines used for laundry on their own.

 

Requirements for visa application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurace, dexterity.
  • Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc.
  2. Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps in walls, etc.
  3. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
  4. Install appliances and equipment.
  5. Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing the lawn, collecting trash, etc.
  6. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
  7. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
  8. Check the functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
  9. Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
  10. Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues.

 

Requirement and skills:

  1. Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position.
  2. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
  3. Experience using hand and electrical tools.
  4. Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
  5. Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Physical stamina and dexterity.
  7. High school diploma or equivalent.
  8. Successful completion of an apprenticeship is required.
