You will be responsible for ensuring that our goods are produced on schedule and distributed profitably. A good Production Planning Manager understands production techniques and how to improve them. They are well-organized and results-oriented, with excellent problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and computer abilities are required for the position.

Responsibilities:

1. Keeping an eye on product availability and modifying production as necessary to prevent excessive production.
2. To assure compliance with federal and state standards, you must interpret and put into practice corporate policies on production schedules.
3. Coordination with manufacturers to ensure appropriate materials are available, as well as the development of new supplier partnerships as needed.
4. Creating production schedules based on demand projections to meet consumer demands.
5. Coordination with shipping providers to arrange for final product delivery to clients.
6. Assign workers and other personnel to certain industrial operations.
7. Work with quality assurance, logistics, and other personnel.
