Looking for a Railroad Bridge Crane Operator. Crane operators operate cranes or draglines to lift, move, position, or place machinery, equipment and other large objects at construction or industrial sites, ports, railway yards, surface mines and other similar locations. They are employed by construction, industrial, mining, cargo handling and railway companies. Apprentices are also included in this unit group.

 

Requirements for visa application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearence Certificate.
  • Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurace, dexterity.
  • Experience in physical work and construction Work.

 

Visa Processing Time:

  • Processing time 4-6 weeks.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Complete daily DOT logs, crane inspection, truck inspection and required weekly reports.
  2. Read and understand the crane operator manual for safe crane operation.
  3. Read load charts and operate within the capacity of the charts.
  4. Must be able to use proper rigging and hand signals when making a lift, do not exceed weight limits as posted on load charts.
  5. Perform and document daily, weekly, and monthly crane inspections.
  6. Perform scheduled maintenance on crane, truck and Hy-rails as required.
  7. Keep the truck organized and the interior and exterior clean.
  8. Must be qualified in Level II track Worker Safety.
  9. Must be able to communicate with Boom Truck Trainer, Foreman, and Manager Fleet.
  10. Assist in general labor duties, including removing steel rivets, tightening structural steel bolts, removing existing structural steel, hanging scaffolding, painting steel, assisting in the replacement of bridge timbers, ascending and descending slopes with rough terrain, driving spikes and drift pins with a maul, dig using hand shovel, drill holes in existing or new timber and work at heights (Required).
  11. Operate a jackhammer, rock drill, and other power tools to assist in the repair of concrete structures (Willing to train).
  12. Operate ½” drill and generator, impact wrench, pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, magnetic drill, torch and chain saw (Willing to train).

 

 

Requirement And Skills:

  1. High School Degree.
  2. Previous experience with heavy outdoor physical labor.
  3. Exposure to heights over 100 feet.
  4. Experience in operating hydraulic cranes.
  5. Ability to read and interpret load charts.
