Looking for an Agricultural Sales Representative. An agricultural sales representative demonstrates and sells items to farmers and other agricultural workers. They may sell various commercial or agricultural equipment and accessories. Agricultural sales representatives may market and sell goods, such as animal feed, garden equipment, seeds, or pesticides to farmers.

 

Requirements for visa application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience in physical work.

 

 Processing Time:

  • Work [permit processing time is 4-6 weeks

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Sell a variety of commercial and agricultural equipment.
  2. Sell a service or goods such as animal feed, garden equipment, poultry, chickens, cows, seeds, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and cattle.
  3. Work on building a book of business by calling potential customers or going to their business.
  4. Sell orders over the phone.
  5. Check to see if orders are in stock.
  6. Confer with customer regarding installation, set-up, or layout of agricultural equipment and machines.
  7. Be familiar with a type of equipment and how it operates or have knowledge in such areas as fertilizers and how they affect crops.
  8. Negotiate prices.
  9. Demonstrate how to use equipment and why the company needs the equipment or service.
  10. Recommend a different and more efficient product, machine, or service.
  11. Prepare reports.
  12. Conduct business transactions.
  13. Work different territories.
  14. Tell customer of estimated delivery schedule, service contracts, warranty, or other information pertaining to purchased products.
  15. Attend conferences to discover new products or machines.
  16. Perform extensive research.
  17. Test machines to ensure they are functioning properly.
  18. Create a list of sales leads.
  19. Keep abreast of market trends, needs, and new companies cropping up.
  20. Prepare contracts and ensure they are legally binding.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using directories and other sources.
  2. Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers’ and competitors’ goods and services, and market conditions.
  3. Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities.
  4. Assessing customers’ needs and recommending and explaining goods and services to them.
  5. Monitoring customers’ changing needs and competitor activity, and reporting these developments to sales management.
  6. Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders.
  7. Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services.
  8. Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services.
  9. Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolving any problems arising.
  10. Preparing sales reports and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred.
