Looking for a Stone Fabricator. A stone fabricator creates products, such as countertops, roof slabs, and stone walls out of stone or concrete casts. In this career, your job duties vary depending on whether you work in construction or at a manufacturing facility.

Requirements for Visa:

• Passport Validity (1 year).

• Police Clearance Certificate.

• Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
• Experience of physical work.

 Processing Time:

• Processing time 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate Jib Cranes and run BACA miter saw.
2. Operate stone-cutting machinery and tools.
3. Measure and cut accurately.
4. Hand fabricate miter 45 seams and fit together waterfall legs.
5. Fabricate and glue 45 and stack lamination edges.
6. Top polish all products (Granite, Quartz, Dekton) and advanced surface repairs.
7. Read shop diagrams and templates to determine the scope of the project.
8. Label templates to flow properly through the shop.
9. Able to cut out and hand fab an under-mount sink by hand.
10. Cut jobs and confirm each piece matches the template.
11. Maintain machinery and their components.
12. Work to proper safety standards.

Requirements and skills:

1. Fluent in fabrication with the ability to train others in beginner stages.
2. The ability to profile and polish edges by hand occasionally.
3. We are a 3cm wet fab shop that also does complex miter work and 2cm lamination, so experience is beneficial.
4. Successful history of working in a fast-paced changing workplace.
5. Record of outstanding attendance and punctuality.
6. Proven record of quality work and attention to detail.
7. A basic understanding of construction principles (plumb, flat, level, square).
8. Ability to accurately translate measurements from drawings to products.
9. Successful history working well with co-workers.
10. Must be able to pass a background check.
