Welding supervisors are responsible for overseeing the work of their team. They ensure that each member is performing their job correctly and by company standards. In addition to this, they may also be tasked with developing new welding techniques or training employees on how to use new equipment or technology.

Requirements for Visa:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is  4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring the quality of welding work to ensure that it meets industry standards.
  2. Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and practices for the workplace.
  3. Reporting to management about the status of projects, including delays that may occur due to equipment problems or other issues.
  4. Training new welders in proper welding techniques and safety procedures.
  5. Reviewing blueprints and other plans to determine how welders will be able to implement them.
  6. Providing technical assistance to other welders when needed.
  7. Ensuring that proper safety precautions are taken while welding is being performed.
  8. Training welders on new equipment and technologies as they become available.
  9. Maintaining records of welding activity, including materials used and welders’ qualifications.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Education: Welding supervisors typically need a high school diploma or GED certificate. Some employers may prefer an associate's or bachelor’s degree in welding or a related field.
  2. Training & Experience: Welding supervisors typically receive on-the-job training in their roles. This training may include learning the specific welding processes and equipment used by the company, as well as the safety procedures and best practices for the position. Welding supervisors may also receive training in the use of welding software and equipment.
