Looking for a 3G welder. Our company is looking for a highly talented welder to join our dynamic team. We’re seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations. Your chief responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components.

Visa Requirements:

  • Passport Validity (1 year)
  • Updated CV
  • Passport-size photo (4 Copies)
  • Police Clearance Certificate
  • Age Up to 45 years
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity
  • Experience in welding (specifically 3G welding)

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Welding Tasks: Perform welding operations in the vertical position according to specifications and welding procedures. This involves joining metal components using welding processes such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), or Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW).
  2. Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and fitting them to ensure proper joint configuration. This may involve grinding, beveling, and other preparatory tasks to achieve the desired weld quality.
  3. Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints visually and, if necessary, use non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to detect defects or discontinuities. Ensure compliance with welding codes, standards, and project specifications.
  4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety guidelines, and maintaining a safe work environment.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including welding procedures, materials used, inspection results, and any deviations from the welding plan. Documentation is crucial for quality control and traceability purposes.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, colleagues, and other team members to coordinate welding activities, troubleshoot problems, and ensure project deadlines are met. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for project success.

 

Skills and Requirements:

  1. Certification in 3G welding is required.
  2. Prior experience in welding, with a focus on 3G welding positions.
  3. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  4. Manual dexterity: Precise hand-eye coordination and the ability to manipulate welding equipment and tools.
  5. Attention to detail: Thoroughness in inspecting welds and ensuring they meet quality standards.
  6. Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in various positions.
  7. Safety consciousness: Knowledge of safety procedures and practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
  8. Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot welding issues and make adjustments as needed.
