We are searching for a passionately curious anthropologist to further extant knowledge about the human condition. The anthropologist should detect understudied subject matter, develop appropriate investigative procedures, and then conduct these to obtain nuanced insights into everyday experiences. You should also disseminate the results of these studies in a bid to promote the accessibility of social scientific information.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  1. Following new publications related to your specialization and participating in meaningful discussions.
  2. Creating research plans that address underrepresented topics.
  3. Executing research protocols that adopt a holistic study design.
  4. Promoting the co-creation of information by employing participatory approaches.
  5. Interpreting, writing about, and discussing your discoveries.
  6. Collaborating with local and international peers to generate and share knowledge.
  7. Advocating for the development of appropriate evidence-based policies and legislation.
  8. Facilitating access to Anthropological concepts through demystification and open conversations.
  9. Encouraging respect for and the sharing of human experiences.

 

Requirement and skills:

  1. Degree in anthropology plus advanced training in your subspecialty.
  2. Experience as an anthropologist in an organization with similar expectations.
  3. Proven record of publishing technical works and engaging in science communication.
  4. Familiarity with Anthropological insights, values, and research approaches.
  5. Ability to craft and conduct large-scale, relevant studies.
  6. Clear and flexible verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Strong grasp of appropriate data analysis techniques.
  8. Cognizant and welcoming of differences in the human condition.
