As a Carpenter, you play a key role in building and installing wooden structures, including framing, cabinetry, furniture, and trim work. Your expertise in woodworking techniques, construction principles, and project management will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects.

Requirements for visa application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Age Up to 25-50 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience in physical work and skilled Work.

 

 Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 3 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and dimensions.
  2. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials according to project plans and specifications.
  3. Construct and assemble wooden structures, including walls, floors, roofs, and partitions, using hand and power tools.
  4. Install and fit doors, windows, moldings, trim, and hardware with precision and attention to detail.
  5. Build and install cabinets, shelves, countertops, and other custom woodworking projects as required.
  6. Repair or replace damaged or worn wooden structures and fixtures, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
  7. Collaborate with other construction trades, including plumbers, electricians, and painters, to coordinate installations and complete projects on time and within budget.
  8. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any defects or malfunctions to supervisors.
  10. Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and coworkers to understand project requirements and address any concerns or issues.

 

Skills and Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in carpentry techniques, including framing, finishing, and cabinetry.
  2. Knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers.
  3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  4. Strong mathematical skills for measuring, cutting, and calculating dimensions accurately.
  5. Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that involve lifting, carrying, and working with heavy materials.
  6. Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements, cuts, and assembly of wooden structures.
  7. Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions to construction challenges.
  8. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, coworkers, and supervisors effectively.
