Looking for a CO2 welder. A CO2 welder, also known as a MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welder, specializes in using a carbon dioxide (CO2) gas shield to weld metal parts. This role involves joining, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and components with precision and efficiency.

Visa Application Requirements:

  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  •  Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  •  Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.
     

Responsibilities:

  1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  2. Setting up and operating MIG welding machines, ensuring proper adjustments of voltage, amperage, and wire feed settings.
  3. Using CO2 gas to shield the weld area from contamination and ensure clean, strong welds.
  4. Preparing metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as necessary.
  5. Positioning and securing workpieces using clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
  6. Performing various types of MIG welding techniques to join different metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  7. Creating welds in various positions, such as flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
  8. Inspecting completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
  9. Identifying and repairing defects or discontinuities in welds.
  10. Following all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, and protective clothing.
  11. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents.
  12. Performing routine maintenance on welding machines and equipment to ensure proper operation.
  13. Troubleshooting and repairing welding equipment as needed.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Proficiency in MIG welding techniques using CO2 gas shielding.
  2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  3. Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties.
  4. Strong focus on producing high-quality welds with precision and accuracy.
  5. Ability to identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies in welds.
  6. Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
  7. Comprehensive understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the welding industry.

  9. Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and address issues with welding equipment or processes.
