Looking for a Construction Helper. As a construction helper, you will assist skilled tradespeople and laborers in various tasks related to construction projects. Your role involves providing support and assistance with manual labor, equipment operation, material handling, and site cleanup. You will work under the direction of supervisors or more experienced workers to ensure the efficient and safe completion of construction tasks. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Visa Application Requirements:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  •  Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  •  Police Clearance Certificate.
  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  •  Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  •  Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the setup and preparation of construction sites, including assembling and disassembling temporary structures, barricades, and safety barriers.
  2. Perform general labor tasks, such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, pouring foundations, and carrying or lifting materials.
  3. Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, hammers, and pneumatic nail guns, under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
  4. Assist with the installation, assembly, and repair of construction components, including framing, roofing, siding, and drywall.
  5. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks, trailers, or storage areas, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
  6. Clean and prepare work areas, removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
  7. Assist with site cleanup and waste disposal, including collecting and disposing of construction debris, scrap materials, and unused supplies.
  8. Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safe work practices.
  9. Communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks, share information, and ensure project objectives are met.
  10. Learn and develop skills in various construction trades and techniques through on-the-job training and mentorship.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred but not required.
  2. Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
  3. Physical stamina and endurance to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, following directions from supervisors and cooperating with coworkers to achieve common goals.
  5. Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials, or a willingness to learn their proper use and maintenance.
  6. Attention to detail and commitment to quality in performing tasks accurately and efficiently.
  7. Strong work ethic and reliability, with a punctual and dependable attendance record.
  8. Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments, including outdoor construction sites and potentially hazardous locations.
  9. Positive attitude, willingness to take on new challenges, and a desire to develop skills and advance in the construction industry.
