Looking for a Foreman. As a foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction or industrial projects to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Your role involves supervising and leading a team of workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople, while also liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate progress, resolve issues, and meet project goals and deadlines. Attention to detail, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate construction or industrial projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  2. Lead and manage a team of workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and according to design requirements.
  4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project status, resolve issues, and address changes or modifications.
  5. Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  6. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and material inventories.
  7. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, monitoring costs, and optimizing resources to stay within budgetary constraints.
  8. Procure materials, equipment, and supplies needed for project completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  9. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify workmanship, adherence to specifications, and compliance with regulations.
  10. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and collaboration among project team members.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in construction, industrial, or related fields.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, as well as industrial processes and equipment.
  3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
  4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for conveying information, instructions, and feedback to team members and stakeholders.
  5. Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project deadlines.
  6. Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and make sound judgments in fast-paced environments.
  7. Familiarity with project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  8. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction or industrial settings.
  9. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, schedules, and priorities.
