Looking for a furniture carpenter. As a furniture carpenter, you will be responsible for crafting and constructing various types of furniture pieces according to specifications and design requirements. You will work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and composites, to create high-quality and durable furniture items. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints, sketches, or design plans to understand the dimensions, materials, and assembly methods required for each project. Attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship are essential for producing furniture pieces that meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Visa Application Requirements:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  •  Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  •  Police Clearance Certificate.
  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  •  Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  •  Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret and follow design plans, blueprints, and sketches to construct furniture pieces.
  2. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  3. Select appropriate wood, hardware, and other materials for each project, considering aesthetics, durability, and cost.
  4. Sand, stain, paint, or finish furniture pieces to achieve the desired appearance and texture.
  5. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
  6. Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and preferences.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of tools and materials.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Proven experience as a furniture carpenter or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
  2. Proficiency in woodworking techniques, including cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing.
  3. Knowledge of different types of wood, hardware, and materials used in furniture construction.
  4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and design plans accurately.
  5. Proficient with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  6. Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and craftsmanship.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during construction.
  8. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, designers, and clients.
  9. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials.
