Looking for a General Operator. General construction operatives are involved in a range of practical tasks on a construction site, working on projects from foundation to completion. This includes preparing the site ahead of building work taking place and carrying out manual work whilst a project is in progress. Construction operatives complete a wide variety of tasks, ranging from mixing and pouring concrete, moving and unloading materials, operating machinery, and more.

Requirements for visa application:

• Passport Validity (1 year).
• Updated CV.
• Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
• Police Clearance Certificate.
• Age Up to 45 years.
• Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
• Experience of physical work.

Visa Processing Time:

• Processing time 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

1. Helping skilled tradespeople with every aspect of the building process.
2. Being involved in projects from start to finish.
3. Following all health and safety procedures.
4. Mixing and pouring concrete to make foundations, beams, or floors.
5. Digging trenches for foundations.
6. Fixing scaffolding and building frames.
7. Laying pavements and resurfacing roads.
8. Marking out the area for the site using string lines and putting up barriers and safety signs.
9. Laying drainage pipes, pavements, and manhole covers.
10. Operating hand machinery such as drills, pumps, and compressors.
11. Operating machinery such as excavators and dumper truckers.
12. Working outdoors in all weathers.

Requirement and skills:

1. Good level of physical fitness.
2. A head for heights.
3. Ability to understand instructions and carry them out.
4. General understanding of health and safety issues.
