Looking for a  Gypsum Carpenter. A gypsum carpenter is a skilled worker who installs and repairs gypsum boards, also known as drywall, in various construction projects. Gypsum boards are panels made of gypsum plaster pressed between two thick sheets of paper. They are used to make interior walls and ceilings

 

Requirements for visa application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work Permit Processing time 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand the project requirements and specifications
  2. Measuring and marking the gypsum boards according to the dimensions and layout of the site
  3. Cutting, shaping, and fitting the gypsum boards using hand tools, power tools, or adhesive
  4. Installing the gypsum boards on wooden or metal frames using screws, nails, or glue
  5. Filling and smoothing the joints, holes, and cracks with compound and tape
  6. Applying finishing materials such as paint, wallpaper, or texture to the gypsum boards
  7. Carving, assembling, and installing furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items made of gypsum board
  8. Inspecting and repairing any damages or defects on the gypsum boards
  9. A gypsum carpenter may work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, such as houses, apartments, offices, hotels, schools, hospitals or factories. They may work independently or as part of a team of carpenters, contractors or other construction workers. They may also work with other tradespeople, such as electricians, plumbers, painters or decorators.

 

Requirement and skills:

  1. A vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry or gypsum board installation.
  2. A valid license or certification in some states or countries.
  3. A good knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, and materials.
  4. A good understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  5. A good physical condition and stamina to lift and carry heavy materials and work in different environments.
  6. A good eye for detail and accuracy to ensure a high-quality finish.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and colleagues.
  8. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to handle any issues or challenges.
