Requirements for visa application:

Responsibilities:

1. Reading Blueprints and Plans: You’ll synthesize information from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications to select the proper materials and quantities needed for a project.
2. Bolting Metal Structures: Securely bolting metal structures like beams and columns together based on instructions from supervisors.
3. Handling Heavy Metal Pieces: Transport heavy metal pieces from ground level to higher locations using tools like cranes or collaborating with team members to position them correctly.
4. Fabricating Structural Components: Build steel or iron structural pieces for large projects such as commercial buildings, bridges, highways, and other public works.
5. Ensuring Proper Placement and Alignment: Use levels, laser tools, or plumb bobs to ensure the correct placement, balance, and alignment of structural pieces.
6. Cutting and Fabrication: Transform metal materials into functional elements by cutting and using fabrication techniques.
7. Adhering to Safety Regulations: Access challenging work positions while following proper OSHA regulations.

Requirement and skills:

1. Education: High school diploma or its equivalent.
2. Experience: Completion of an apprenticeship or relevant experience in the field.
3. Safety Awareness: A keen eye for safety due to the inherent risks of extreme heat, heights, and weight.
4. Communication: Ability to bring plans, sketches, and verbal instructions to life.
5. Physical Abilities: Good balance, agility, and coordination.
6. Technical Skills: Operating hand and machine cutting tools.
