Looking for a Land Surveyor. As a land surveyor, you will be responsible for reviewing land using technical equipment to ensure it is suitable for a construction project to take place.

 

Requirements for Visa:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearence Certificate.
  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurace, dexterity.
  • Experience of physical work.

 

 Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Carrying out surveys of the environment with construction projects in mind
  2. Working in diverse sectors, such as construction, property, cartography (maps), offshore engineering and exploration
  3. Assessing land due for redevelopment
  4. Surveying airports, landfill sites, mines, quarries, pipeline systems and more
  5. Managing and monitoring projects from start to finish
  6. Producing maps using GPS, surveying instruments, digital images and satellite photographs
  7. Analyzing data using geographic information systems (GIS) and drawing charts using computer-aided design (CAD)
  8. Monitoring changes in the land during the construction process
  9. Writing reports and sharing crucial information with colleagues and clients
  10. Working in an office, with regular site visits.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Knowledge of engineering science, maths, geography, and technology.
  2. Analytical thinking skills.
  3. Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
  4. Able to use your initiative.
  5. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  6. Thinking and reasoning skills.
  7. Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently.
