Scaffolders are responsible for assembling and dismantling usually temporary scaffolding structures that allow workers to access specific portions of a building to perform needed work in a variety of industries such as construction, entertainment, shipbuilding, mining, utilities, drilling, and more.

Scaffolding is mainly an outdoor job that involves working in most weather conditions. The work can be physically demanding, with a lot of climbing and lifting of heavy equipment. A person who isn’t afraid to climb, walk, and work at high elevations can succeed in this role.

 

Requirements for visa application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearence Certificate.
  • Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience of physical work.

 

Visa Processing Time:

  • Processing time 4-6 weeks.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site
  2. Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding
  3. Erecting scaffolding poles
  4. Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures
  5. Laying planks for workers to walk on
  6. Fixing guard rails and safety netting
  7. Dismantling scaffolding when a project is complete
  8. Creating different kinds of platforms, from simple scaffolding to complex structures such as suspended scaffolding, cantilever drops and temporary roofs
  9. Working on-site in all weather.

 

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Ability to work confidently at heights.
  2. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  3. Good level of physical fitness.
  4. Awareness of health and safety.
  5. Ability to understand technical drawings and plans.
  6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
