Looking for a shuttering carpenter. A shuttering carpenter is a type of carpenter who specializes in making and installing formwork or shuttering, which are temporary structures used to hold concrete in place until it sets.

 

Requirements for visa application:

  • Original Passport Validity (1 year).
  •  Passport Size photo with white background.
  •  Educational Certificate.
  •  Police Clearance Certificate.
  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  •  Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work Permit Processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Setting out the work area, following engineering plans and specifications.
  2. Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden or metal boards, panels, and frames.
  3. Securing the formwork to the ground or existing structures using nails, screws, bolts, or clamps.
  4. Aligning and leveling the formwork to ensure the correct shape and size of the concrete.
  5. Installing reinforcement bars, pipes, conduits, or other embedded items in the formwork.
  6. Pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete in the formwork, or assisting other workers in doing so.
  7. Removing the formwork after the concrete has hardened, or repairing and reusing it for the next project.
  8. Cleaning and maintaining the tools, equipment, and materials used for the job.

 

Requirement and skills:

  1. Proven experience as a shuttering carpenter or a similar role.
  2. Excellent knowledge of formwork techniques, methods, and materials.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  4. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
  5. Good physical condition and stamina to lift and carry heavy materials and work in different environments.
  6. Good eye for detail and accuracy to ensure a high-quality finish.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and colleagues.
  8. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to handle any issues or challenges.
