As a Butcher in a kebab shop, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meat products for kebabs and other grilled dishes. You will be responsible for sourcing, cutting, and preparing various meats according to specific recipes and customer preferences. Additionally, you will ensure the proper storage and handling of meat products to maintain freshness and food safety standards.

Requirements for visa application:

  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Source and inspect meat products to ensure quality and freshness.
  2. Use butchering tools, such as knives, saws, and cleavers, to cut and trim meats according to specific requirements.
  3. Prepare meat cuts for kebabs, including slicing, skewering, and marinating.
  4. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meat products for grilling.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the butcher area, including equipment and work surfaces.
  6. Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures, including proper storage and temperature control of meat products.
  7. Assist in inventory management by monitoring meat stock levels and informing the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
  8. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Previous experience working as a butcher or in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service establishment.
  2. Knowledge of different meat cuts and butchering techniques.
  3. Ability to use butchering tools safely and efficiently.
  4. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate cutting and portioning of meat products.
  5. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
  6. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff.
  7. Understanding of food safety regulations and willingness to adhere to hygiene standards.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
