Looking for a Cleaning Manager. A Cleaning Manager is the primary managerial position overseeing cleaning staff in a given facility. They play a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness, safety, and orderliness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Training: Cleaning Managers supervise janitorial operations, coordinate cleaning staff, and ensure compliance with corporate standards. They train, hire, and assist cleaning associates.
  2. Quality Control: They check if facilities are cleaned correctly, assign tasks, and investigate client complaints. Their goal is to maintain high standards and satisfactory service.
  3. Inventory Management: Cleaning Managers manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability and operational readiness.
  4. Safety and Compliance: They deploy health and safety (H&S) induction for new staff, ensuring workplace safety. They also handle incident reporting and take remedial action when needed.
  5. Communication: Cleaning Managers communicate relevant information to staff, schedule work assignments, and maintain effective communication channels.
  6. Pre-Event Inspections: Before official openings, they conduct pre-event inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness.
  7. Equipment Maintenance: They arrange repairs for faulty equipment and promptly replace any damaged items.
  8. Customer Satisfaction: Cleaning Managers address client complaints, investigate anomalies, and reassure clients of the company’s commitment to excellence.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Experience: Prior work experience as a Hotel Housekeeper or similar role is advantageous.
  2. Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  3. Physical Stamina: The job involves physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending.
  4. Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  5. Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  6. Communication Skills: Basic communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues.
