Looking for Electrician helpers. Electrician helpers assist senior electricians with basic electrical systems installation, repair, and maintenance. They perform the more routine tasks of the electrical trade, taking direction from – and under the supervision of – the senior electrician. Electrician helpers work part-time and full-time on residential and commercial projects. Employers hiring electrician helpers look for high school degrees and minimal experience, so this position is a great way to break into and get experience in the electrical trade.

Requirements for Visa:

Visa Processing Time:

• Processing time 2 weeks.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in installing electrical systems.
2. Install sound systems, security systems and voice and data systems.
3. Install lighting, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers.
4. Thread conduit ends and connect couplings and conduit fittings using a wrench.
5. Secure brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pull wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals.
6. Use tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers.
7. Replace faulty circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wires.
8. Replace old fuse boxes.
9. Hook up appliances for power.
10. Install new lighting and ceiling fans.
11. Repair motors, transformers, generators, and electronic controllers on machine tools and industrial robots.
12. Consult with engineers, engineering technicians, line installers and repairers, or industrial machinery mechanics and maintenance workers when performing installations.
13. Rewire homes and businesses.
14. Assist in home inspections.

Requirement and skills:

1. Construction or electrical experience is a plus.
2. Skills with basic hand and power tools.
3. Physical stamina.
4. Reliable transportation.
5. Willingness to learn.
