Looking for a Fruit and Vegetable Packer. As a Fruit and Vegetable Packer, your primary responsibility is to ensure that fruits and vegetables are properly packed for shipment or display. Whether you work on fruit farms, in greengrocery stores, or in supermarkets, your tasks involve handling produce with care and precision.

Requirements for Visa:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Updated CV.
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Age Up to 18-50 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience of Physical Work and skilled Work.
  • Meat Processing, Packaging, Manufacturing &
  • Kitchen Worker Experience Job.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work Permit Processing time 4 - 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect Freshness: Examine each fruit and vegetable to assess its freshness and quality.
  2. Select Appropriate Packaging: Determine the right type of packaging for each fruit or vegetable based on its type and sensitivity. For instance, grapes may need different packaging than melons.
  3. Assemble Packaging Materials: Obtain packaging materials such as bubble wraps, sealing bags, cartons, and crates.
  4. Pack Fruits and Vegetables: Place individual fruits or stacks of produce into the appropriate bags, containers, or packs.
  5. Ensure Uniformity: Count and weigh the produce to ensure uniformity in bags or boxes.
  6. Organize and Record Information: Arrange bags and packages on trays or racks, and record details like quantity, weight, time, and packing dates.
  7. Sort by Size and Type: Categorize fruits and vegetables based on size and type.
  8. Assist with Container Filling: Oversee and assist in filling containers with produce.
  9. Label Boxes: Label each box according to specified instructions.
  10. Load Delivery Trucks: Ensure that packed fruit and vegetable containers are properly loaded onto delivery trucks.
  11. Safety Measures: Follow safety procedures to prevent damage to the produce.
  12. Sealing and Lining: Seal containers with lids, foil, or plastic film. Line up boxes or crates carefully.
  13. Weigh End Products: Measure the weight of the final packaged products for documentation.
