Looking for a Meat preservation worker. Meat preservation is a critical aspect of ensuring the safety and quality of meat products. It involves various techniques to control spoilage, inhibit microbial growth, and extend the shelf life of meat.

Requirements for Visa:

  •  Passport Validity (1 year).
  •  Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  •  Updated CV.
  •  Police Clearance Certificate.
  •  Age Up to 18-50 years.
  •  Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  •  Experience in Physical Work and skilled Work.
  •  Meat Processing, Packaging, Manufacturing &
  • Kitchen Worker Experience Job.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work Permit Processing time 4 - 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect incoming raw meat for quality, freshness, and adherence to safety standards.
  2. Remove any substandard or contaminated meat.
  3. Monitor the processing line to ensure proper handling and hygiene.
  4. Operate machinery and equipment for cutting, deboning, grinding, and packaging meat.
  5. Follow standardized procedures to process meat into various products (e.g., steaks, ground meat, sausages).
  6. Portion and package meat according to weight and labeling requirements.
  7. Apply preservation methods such as refrigeration, freezing, curing, and smoking.
  8. Ensure that meat products are stored at appropriate temperatures to prevent spoilage.
  9. Follow safety protocols when handling preserved meats.
  10. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
  11. Wash hands frequently and use protective gear (gloves, aprons, hairnets) to prevent cross-contamination.
  12. Adhere to food safety guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  13. Keep track of meat inventory levels.
  14. Rotate stock to use older meat first (first in, first out).
  15. Report shortages or excess inventory to supervisors.
  16. Work as part of a team to meet production targets.
  17. Communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  18. Follow safety protocols related to machinery operation, handling sharp tools, and lifting heavy loads.
  19. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
  20. Maintain records related to meat processing, inventory, and quality control.
  21. Ensure accurate labeling and traceability of meat products.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Ability to operate and maintain various meat processing machinery and equipment1.
  2. Familiarity with tools such as grinders, slicers, mixers, and packaging machines.
  3. Standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods are common in this role.
  4. Maintaining physical endurance is crucial.
  5. Precision matters when cutting, trimming, and portioning meat products.
  6. Following instructions accurately ensures product quality.
  7. Knowledge of food safety standards to prevent contamination.
  8. Proper sanitization of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  9. Collaborating with colleagues to meet production targets.
