We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in sewing and garment construction, with a keen eye for detail and quality craftsmanship. As a tailor, you will be responsible for altering, repairing, and creating garments according to customer specifications and design requirements.

Requirements for Visa Application:

• Passport Validity: 1 year.
• Updated CV.
• Photo: 35mm x 45mm.
• Police Clearance Certificate.
• Age limit: 25 to 50 years.
• Good physical health, endurance, and dexterity.
• Experience in physical work.

Processing Time:

• Work permit processing time: 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

1. Measure clients to determine required garment alterations or fit.
2. Alter, repair, and tailor garments such as suits, dresses, pants, jackets, and more.
3. Sew and stitch fabrics by hand or using industrial sewing machines.
4. Create custom-made clothing based on specific design patterns and measurements.
5. Take customer preferences and feedback into account when making alterations.
6. Ensure timely completion of garment adjustments while maintaining high-quality standards.
7. Handle different types of fabrics and materials with care.
8. Perform quality checks on completed garments to ensure proper fit and appearance.
9. Maintain and organize work areas, tools, and sewing machines.
10. Advise customers on garment care, materials, and possible adjustments or alterations.

Requirement and skills:

1. Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress.
2. Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques.
3. Strong knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and alterations.
4. Ability to work with various fabrics, including delicate materials such as silk, lace, and wool.
5. Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and stitching.
6. Good communication skills to interact with clients and understand their needs.
7. Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
8. Problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected issues with fabric or design.
9. Familiarity with garment repair techniques such as hemming, patching, and replacing zippers.
