Looking for a Truck Driver. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers to various destinations. Your role involves safely driving trucks, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and delivering cargo or passengers in a timely and efficient manner. Depending on the type of truck and cargo, you may work locally, regionally, or nationally, and you may be responsible for loading and unloading goods, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.

Visa Application Requirements:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  •  Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  •  Police Clearance Certificate.
  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  •  Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  •  Experience of physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or delivery vans, to transport goods or passengers to designated locations.
  2. Follow traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicles.
  3. Plan routes and schedules to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption, delays, and traffic congestion.
  4. Load and unload cargo or passengers, securing items properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport.
  5. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking brakes, tires, lights, and other components for safety and compliance.
  6. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, hours of service, and cargo delivery, using paper logs or electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  7. Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and logistics.
  8. Monitor weather and road conditions, adjusting driving techniques and routes as needed to ensure safe travel.
  9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.
  10. Assist with loading and unloading activities, using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, as necessary.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck and cargo being transported.
  2. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents within the past three to five years.
  3. Previous experience as a truck driver is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
  4. Knowledge of trucking regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and hazardous materials handling.
  5. Familiarity with basic truck maintenance and repair procedures, such as checking fluids, changing tires, and troubleshooting minor issues.
  6. Strong spatial awareness and driving skills, including the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces and adverse weather conditions.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
  8. Physical stamina and endurance to drive for long periods and perform loading and unloading activities as needed.
  9. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and maintaining records.
  10. Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service in all aspects of truck driving operations.
