Looking for An Assistant Cook. An Assistant Cook provides support to the chef or head cook in the kitchen of a restaurant, catering company, or other food service facility.

Requirements For Visa Application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).
  • Updated CV.
  •  Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Police Clearance Certificate
  •  Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience in physical work.

 

 Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting with Food Preparation: The assistant cook helps prepare and arrange food. They may test new dishes and assist in planning menus.
  2. Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the kitchen area is orderly is crucial. This includes cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes and utensils, and disinfecting surfaces to meet health and safety standards.
  3. Inventory Management: The assistant cook helps maintain the kitchen inventory, buys and stores ingredients, and clears refrigerators.
  4. Collaborating with the Cook: Working closely with the cook ensures efficient kitchen operations.
  5. Adhering to Safety Regulations: Following legal requirements related to health and safety, including food hygiene standards, is essential.
  6. Other Duties: Additional tasks may include removing rubbish, washing bins, and assisting with administrative paperwork related to food preparation.

 

Requirements and skills:

  1. Food Handling: Assistant cooks must be adept at preparing, storing, and disposing of food in a safe manner.
