As a Kitchen Assistant in a kebab shop, you'll play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and timely preparation of orders. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, organizing inventory, and supporting other kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements for visa application:

  • Passport Validity (1 year).

  • Passport Size photo (4 Copies).
  • Work experience certificate.
  • Educational certificate.
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Age Up to 45 years.
  • Good Physical and health, endurance, dexterity.
  • Experience in physical work.

 

Processing Time:

  • Work permit processing time is 4-6 weeks.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces, under the supervision of the chef or cook.
  2. Help assemble kebabs and other menu items according to established recipes and portion sizes.
  3. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly to maintain food safety standards.
  4. Wash and peel vegetables, as needed, and ensure they are stored properly.
  5. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and storage procedures are followed.
  6. Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables in designated bins, following waste disposal guidelines.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and wiping down surfaces.
  8. Assist other kitchen staff during busy periods, such as helping with dishwashing, serving food, or handling customer orders.
  9. Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or food service establishment, is desirable but not required.
  2. Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
  3. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
  4. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  5. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that may require lifting and carrying supplies.
  6. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a dynamic restaurant environment.
